Healthcare Coordination Platform for NRI Families

Problem

NRI families managing elderly parents' healthcare across fragmented providers in India face coordination failures, duplicated tests, and medication errors.

Approach

Designed a coordination layer built on India's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission infrastructure, focusing on longitudinal health records and caregiver visibility.

Impact

Platform architecture validated with 40+ NRI families. In development as Dendrons.ai flagship product.

This project emerged from direct experience managing a parent’s healthcare across multiple specialists, diagnostic centers, and pharmacies—none of which shared information effectively.

The solution leverages India’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) infrastructure as a data interoperability layer, building an application focused specifically on the coordination needs of NRI caregivers: medication tracking across providers, appointment scheduling with timezone awareness, test result aggregation, and multi-stakeholder visibility for family members and paid caregivers.

The design prioritizes pragmatic deployment in India’s healthcare ecosystem—working within existing provider workflows, handling patchy digital adoption, and accounting for the mix of urban hospitals and neighborhood clinics that characterize eldercare in India.
